Village Hall

Barmby Moor Village Hall is a timber-framed ex-army mess hall, bequeathed to the village in 1930.

Over the years the hall has undergone various modifications which include a fitted kitchen; double glazed windows; steel cladding on the roof and sides of the building; disabled toilet; upgraded radiator heating system; thermal lined curtains; redecoration throughout. The hall has seating for 100 persons and a number of large tables.  There is a small enclosed garden to the rear with car parking for ten vehicles alongside the premises. An additional benefit is that Internet access is available for all hirers.

The hall is used for a number of regular activities during the week (see timetable link below) and is also available for hire for private functions, children's parties, receptions, etc.

The hall has Hallmark 1 and 2 status, and is a member of the East Riding Association of Rural Community Buildings (ERA of RCB).
