Village Hall

Barmby Moor Village Hall is a timber-framed ex-army mess hall, bequeathed to the village in 1930.

Over the years the hall has undergone various modifications which include a fitted kitchen; double glazed windows; steel cladding on the roof and sides of the building; disabled toilet; upgraded radiator heating system; thermal lined curtains; redecoration throughout. The hall has seating for 100 persons and a number of large tables.  There is a small enclosed garden to the rear with car parking for ten vehicles alongside the premises.

The hall is used for a number of regular activities during the week (see timetable link below) and is also available for hire for private functions, children's parties, receptions, etc.

The hall has Hallmark 1 and 2 status, and is a member of the East Riding Association of Rural Community Buildings (ERA of RCB).
